God is on YOUR side : )

How do you picture God? Is He some mean god up in the sky saying, "I'll do this for that person and won't for this person." or "I don't want them to have that blessing anymore so I'm going to take it away." or how about this, " I'm going to allow (meaning: admit (an event or activity) as legal or acceptable) them to go through this pain so they can learn a lesson and be stronger after it." I could just throw up!!!! I don't know about you but my God is NOT like what is pictured above!!! He is NOT schizophrenic....in the Greek it means "split mind". God LOVES US. WE are His children!!! John 1:12 says: 12 But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. Would you hurt your child, a child?...would you allow them to be hurt to teach them a lesson? Of course NOT!!!! Do you not want your children or any child, for that matter, to be blessed....have a great life? YES, of course we do!!!! Our God will NEVER hurt us and He wants the BEST for US!!! In Matthew 6:25-27 it says: 25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life[a]? We are so valuable to God, so valuable, that God sent His son, Jesus, for US. In John 3:16-17 it says: 16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[a] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. We all know John 3:16 but a lot of us fail to read 17....who is in the world? We are...so that means God will NEVER condemn us!!!! He came to SAVE us NOT destroy us! How can you trust someone that hurts you? You can't!!!!! In 1 Peter 5:7 it says: Casting all your care on Him; for He cares for YOU! God is on OUR side!

If you've thought, said, heard and believed that God was anything but love repent...all repent means is to change your way of thinking. If you have to post posted notes everywhere you look that say, "God is for ME." do it, start to read the Word through the finished work of Jesus, and guard your heart from lies saying that God is anything but love.
